Our commitment to safe places is informed by our awareness of the impact of trauma on children, and we actively take steps to provided trauma-wise care for all children, no matter what they’ve experienced. All our staff and volunteers are trained to provide consistent, supportive care on Sunday mornings for children based on their individual needs.

Children have different needs at different developmental stages (Experiential - 0-6yrs Affliative - 7-11yrs, Searching - 12 and up). Aware of these natural stages, we want children at Haverhill Commons to feel the freedom to be curious, and have permission to ask questions about God, themselves, and the world.

At Haverhill Commons, kids are loved and included. You'll see kids running and playing, but also playing an active role in our services by reading scripture, clicking through service slides, playing in the band, and helping to shepherd younger kids.
