Ruth: Endgame (Ruth 4)

If the Book of Ruth were a movie, it would have tons of ups and downs and joys and heartaches, spanning generations and locations and set pieces. Chapter 3 ends, the movie fades out with Ruth and Naomi, sitting at a table, giddy and excited and hopeful, but at the same time, trying not to be TOO hopeful.

We’ve been at this table too.

You've wrestled and you've prayed and you did the thing. You left your job. You decided you’re going to tell our small group about your addiction. You moved your family across the country. You went through foster care training. You went to counseling. You asked that person out. You got up and you exercised.

And now, you're waiting…waiting to see what, if anything, God will do.
